Current Opportunities Personal Assistant - Melbourne We have two opportunities for a Personal Assistant in the Melbourne Actuarial & Employee Benefits team. These are:
The successful candidates will enjoy a fast-paced and challenging role, and are required to possess excellent communication skills, strong teamwork and outstanding organisational skills. As part of a cohesive team, you will proactively support your manager and other members of the team as required. More than just typing, your responsibilities will be varied and include: diary management, creation/layout of annual reports and client newsletters, preparation of presentation material, agenda papers, monthly invoices and travel arrangements. Previous experience in a corporate Personal Assistant role is essential, including advanced MS Office skills in Microsoft applications - Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Knowledge of graphics packages such as InDesign is also desirable. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail (100% accuracy in completed work), with the ability to work anticipate the needs and priorities of the team. A Coordinator – Finance & Administration, Sydney As a result of an internal promotion, Watson Wyatt has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Coordinator to join our Finance & Administration team in Sydney. If you enjoy a multi-faceted role liaising with all areas of our business, this role is just the challenge you’re looking for. Your responsibilities will include: ensuring the office is operational, managing and ordering office stock, managing supplier relationships, assisting in the management of reception and assisting in some finance-related matters including maintaining petty cash and other office expenses. Further variety will be added with the management or co-ordination of ad hoc projects as they arise from time to time. The successful candidate will have proven experience in building strong relationships and in effectively managing multiple concurrent deadlines to a successful conclusion. Calm under pressure and always approachable, you are known for your ‘can do’ attitude and your strong client service ethic. Ideally, you will have experience in a professional services environment or in a similar role. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.
