What did you study at university and why?
Oecotrophology—Food & Nutrition Science and Business.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to study medicine, but as I'm one of those people who can't stand the sight of blood being a doctor just wasn’t an option!

Why did you join Watson Wyatt?
I started as a temp with Watson Wyatt for a few weeks, and fortunately the position I was covering became vacant and I have been working here ever since. I enjoyed it way too much to decline the opportunity.

How long have you been at Watson Wyatt?
Since 2003.

What does your role involve at Watson Wyatt?
Looking after the office and reception, assisting the finance manager and corporate accounts, invoicing and debtors management and much much more. I love the variety.

What do you like best about working at Watson Wyatt?
The people, I thoroughly enjoy working with everyone here at Watson Wyatt.

What things do you do outside of work?
I have qualifications as a Hatha Yoga teacher, but have never held a class. I love travelling, my favourite places so far being Hawaii, Salzburg New Zealand and the Hunter Valley. I also enjoy taking pictures of flowers, landscapes and other nature shots and creating my own cards and calendars.

How has Watson Wyatt supported you with the things you’re involved in outside of work?
Watson Wyatt has always been supportive of work life balance. I have been fortunate enough to be able to take time off to visit my family in Germany and travel around Australia.

If there was anyone in the world you could have dinner with, whom would it be, and why?
Anyone of my family and friends back in Germany because seeing them once a year is just not enough!
