   Extensive Research of Salary and Benefit in IT Industry

Attraction and retention of the highly-skilled and creative professionals has been recognized as one of Key Success Factors in this Industry, and more companies have been interested in obtaining latest market data to set effective salary package for their attraction and retention. However, currently available data collected by the government or other labor research companies/institutions in Japan has been found its difficulty to meet their needs due to its generality of benchmarking.
Watson Wyatt launched the Survey in 1987 and has been given the highest reputation in terms of survey focusing on High-tech industry in Japan ever.

   Watson Wyatt Global Grade & Asia Pacific Regional Benchmarks

We have introduced Asia Pacific Regional Benchmarks, which cover significantly extended jobs with appropriate-sized, in 2006. Job levels of the benchmark have been defined based on Watson Wyatt Global Grade which sizes the jobs from 1 up to 25 global grades. The Regional Benchmark consists of A. Generic Jobs which exist and have the same contents across all industries, and B. High-Tech industry Specific Job which exist in the belonged industry being unique and specific. It covers about 250 benchmark jobs.

   Solid Data of HR, Salary and Benefit Policy and Practices

Latest salary increase, Allowances Policies, Incentives, Bonuses, Working Conditions, Retirement allowance & Pension, Insurances and other items be covered.

   COMPASSTM: Web-based Survey Reporting System

Survey report will be available via web-based survey reporting system, COMPASSTM. COMPASSTM is 24-hours acceptable system that allows participants to generate and download the reports with PDF and Excel format according to their needs. In addition, hard-copy report which contains basic reports downloaded from COMPASSTM will be provided for quick reference of survey result.

   Feedback to Survey Participants Only

This survey is conducted as "club survey," which provides result report to participants only, not to other third parties. To access the survey result, you will be required to participate in the survey. Watson Wyatt will conduct data analysis process based on our strict data confidentiality policy and methodology.
