1) Associate for Human Capital Group including Human Capital Solution & Total Rewards Survey

Human Capital Group is a core service of our Organization Transformation model in China. This team provides thought leadership and expertise over two streams of service offerings – HR architecture and people strategy which encompasses total reward strategy and pay structure design for staff and executives, talent development and performance management, employee opinion surveys and HR effectiveness review, etc. Our Data Services team which is a critical element within HCG forms a critical backbone to the various services mentioned above.

We pride ourselves as a trusted partner to our clients in providing sound consultation services and implementable solutions for the enhancement of their business performance. Cross-team synergy is a working culture as realized in business development and marketing, product development, project management and client servicing.

As an Associate for this practice, you are expected to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as Business, Economics, Human Resources, etc. or related subjects are preferred;
  • Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player;
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to task;
  • Well-organized, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong computer software/programming skills;
  • Strong internet searching skills;
  • Strong Chinese and English communications skills. Mandarin is a must.

2) Associate for Retirement and Benefits Practice

China is rapidly reforming its pension system from exclusively reliance on Social Security to a more diversified system in which employer based pensions play a large role. Given the pace of change of China's economic development, this has become the world's most exciting market in which to build a benefits consulting business. Watson Wyatt is targeting a 10-fold growth in its benefits consulting revenues over the period to 2010.

With this tremendous potential in the retirement and employee benefits market, we are looking for Associate Consultants to support our Greater China business strategy.

As an Associate for this practice, you are expected to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other mathematics-related; degrees; Actuarial Science is preferable but not essential;
  • Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player;
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to task;
  • Well-organized, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong computer software/programming skills;
  • Strong internet searching skills;
  • Strong Chinese and English communications skills. Mandarin is a must.

3) Analyst for Investment Practice

Watson Wyatt Investment Consulting is a division of Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Our specialist investment professionals around the world provide research-driven consulting to some of the world’s largest institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, bank and insurance assets, foundations and endowments. We provide co-ordinated investment strategy advice based on expertise in risk assessment, strategic asset allocation and investment manager selection. The institutional investor market in China has been rapidly growing. Entities across the border are looking into investment opportunities both domestically and abroad. The development of supplementary pension market has added to diversity and excitement in China's capital markets.

With this tremendous potential in the investment market, we are looking for Associate Consultants to support our Mainland China business strategy.

As an Analyst for this practice, you are expected to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or other related degrees; Enrolment in the CFA program is preferable but not essential;
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for investment;
  • Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to task;
  • Well-organized, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong computer software/programming skills;
  • Strong desk research skills;
  • Strong Chinese and English communications skills. Mandarin is a must.
