WorkAsia
The WorkAsia study serves as an international benchmark/norm where
organisations can make meaningful comparisons, globally, cross-region and
countries. It helps employers identify areas of improvement in order to increase
employee engagement and effectiveness, thus enhancing the entity’s financial
performance. The study uncovered that the top 3 drivers of employee engagement
in the Asia Pacific region are customer focus, communication, and compensation
and benefits, with the latter two receiving low employee favourable ratings.
WorkAsia looks at issues from a fresh perspective - companies can effectively
increase engagement among their most valuable employees by focusing on employee
segments (rather than demographic slice) based on levels of commitment and line
of sight, and by examining the drivers of engagement for each segment. WW's
WorkAsia study is an ongoing series of Global Attitude surveys on employee work
attitudes and opinions on the company.
