Decision Of Privacy Commissioner: Prescribing Patterns Of Physicians
A recent decision of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada determined that prescription drug information - whether in the form of an individual prescription or in the form of patterns discerned from a number of prescriptions - is not personal information about the physician subject to protections afforded by privacy legislation.
