The Romanow Report: A Prescription For Change?
The number of options for reforming the Canadian health care system increased on November 28, 2002 with the release of the final report of the Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada. From endorsing wellness programs, to providing government-funded prescription drug coverage and compassionate care leave, the Romanow Report contains a number of recommendations of interest to employers. However, the question remains: will the Report's recommendations be implemented and, if so, in what form?
