  Presenteeism is... when an employee is physically at work but not fully productive for physical or mental healthreasons. The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (Volume 46(4) April 2004 pp398-412) reports that a minimum of 12% of workplace productivity is lost to presenteeism annually.
