Health insurers are strong advocates for effective sales incentive plans. But when it comes to evaluating and redesigning those plans, many companies do so based on limited knowledge of best practices. Existing surveys address how much health insurers pay their sales roles but none have examined how—until now.

Watson Wyatt and Synygy invite you to take part in the first Survey on Sales Incentive Design and Governance in the Health Insurance Industry. All individual responses will remain strictly confidential.

The results of the survey will answer many key questions, including:

  • What sales incentive designs and practices best support growth, productivity and profitability?
  • What key differences exist by sales role and market segment?
  • How are the top health insurers governing and managing their sales incentive plans?

Representatives from leading health insurers such as Cigna, Humana, and numerous Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies (including Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Mississippi) are participating in the study, and we hope you will too.

Participants will receive the following benefits:

  • A complimentary copy of survey findings and analysis, to be published this fall
  • An invitation to a webcast hosted by Watson Wyatt and Synygy that will discuss key survey results
  • Eligibility to participate in an advisory panel for future surveys
  • Automatic entry into a drawing for a $500 American Express gift card (odds of winning will be determined by total number of responses received)

Please reply by August 3, 2007.
