Community
Watson Wyatt Associates belong to, and share the values of, many communities. These include professional affiliations such as
company, project and client service teams, as well as charitable organizations, towns, neighborhoods and other outside groups.
Regardless of what type of "communities" our Associates embrace, it is the spirit of teamwork and selfless personal dedication that make them work.
Watson Wyatt encourages its Associates to take on projects that benefit their communities. Examples include:
- The firm supported an Associate's individually organized bike ride across America to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
- A manager supported another Associate by providing the schedule flexibility she needed to volunteer to help disabled children learn to ride horses.
- An Associate serving in our Hong Kong office volunteered to teach native Chinese students English/
- Whole office teams have participated in building Habitat for Humanity houses, and participating in Christmas in April projects, donating time and materials toward the repair of homes for those in need.
- A pair of Associates held weekly sessions with high school students to explore how business works, and the career opportunities ahead for them.
