Pensions Administration

What's it really like to work within the Pensions Administration Practice of Watson Wyatt?

Why do people join and why do they stay?

One of our associates shares their insights.

Claire Thewless

Claire joined Watson Wyatt's Redhill office in 1994 as a Pensions Administrator having worked for Friends Provident for three and a half years.

"In Redhill I worked on large defined benefit and hybrid schemes and was involved in all aspects of administration from dealing with member helplines to calculating benefits. When I left Redhill I was a Team Leader on the Projects side of one of Watson Wyatt's largest global clients.

I transferred to the Dublin office in July 2002 and work in Pensions Administration in the Benefits Practice. I now work on a variety of smaller clients. I am currently working 3 days per week and studying for a literature degree."
