On behalf of Watson Wyatt and everyone associated with the HR Excellence Awards, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the process for 2007. Since we first launched these Awards in 2001 over fifteen organisations from all sectors and sizes have received different Awards for very different initiatives. Many others, finalists or not, have had their experiences celebrated and recognised through the event. While their stories may have differed, their message has been the same and is probably best summed up in the overall aim of these Awards which is: |
‘To acknowledge the contribution that people and the HR profession make to the achievement of business and organisational success.’
As always, the HR Excellence Awards is a collaboration of many people who share in the idea of celebrating and recognising the best endeavours and contribution of our profession. I would like to thank the CIPD, our panel of judges, the other sponsors and my own team in Watson Wyatt who all put in so much of their time and energy to make these Awards a success and such an important part of the HR calendar.
