Rules of entry

1. Organisations wishing to participate in this event must complete the attached registration of interest form and return it to Mr Paul Ennis in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development by 5.00 pm on Friday, 15 June 2007.

2. Registration of interest cards and official entry forms will be accepted online, by post or in person at CIPD, 7-8 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2.

3. Entry submissions must be made using the official entry form which can be found at www.watsonwyatt.com/hrawards2007 by 5.00 pm on Friday 17 August 2007.

4. The CIPD/Watson Wyatt Awards for Excellence in Human Resource Management are open to all organisations operating in Ireland regardless of size, nationality, turnover or nature of business.

5. Organisations that have engaged in more than one HR programme or initiative may submit more than one entry.

6. Nominated programmes and initiatives must have been introduced in participant organisations in the past three years, commencing 1 May 2004.

7. Entries will not be accepted from employees of sponsoring organisations.

8. Entrants must agree to co-operate fully with the judges and their representatives. As part of the judging process, finalists will be required to meet with the judges to discuss their submission during October 2007.

9. Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and sponsoring organisations take no responsibility for incidental or other related costs incurred by entrants.

10. Entry submissions and any supporting material will not be returned to participating organisations.

11. The decision of the judges is final and no further correspondence will be considered.

12. Feedback on submissions will only be provided to finalist organisations upon receipt of a written request by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

13. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.

14. Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and sponsoring organisations reserve the right to publish the names of all award winners and to utilise logos, trademarks and such other intellectual property as has been made available to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

15. Winning organisations must agree to participate in any media activity relating to this event.
