RSS feeds

Watson Wyatt is now providing a RSS news feed service that allows syndication of regularly updated sections of the website.

RSS is a technology that automatically renders news items from a website. So when Watson Wyatt publishes new information, the RSS news feeds are automatically updated.

For example, instead of having to visit the Watson Wyatt website to see if there's a new article from the Global News Briefs section, RSS via the use of an RSS reader will tell you if there is something new.

Accordingly, to take full advantage of Watson Wyatt RSS news feeds, you will need an RSS reader which displays the information.

RSS readers

RSS readers (or aggregators) are the applications used to extract the information from an RSS feed. The majority of them are desktop based and allow you to collect numerous RSS feeds from a variety of websites that produce RSS feeds.

When a new piece of information is published it is synchronised with the reader, which then displays the new information.

There are a variety of RSS readers, but generally what type of application you will wish to run will be down to individual preference.

On that note we recommend using one of the following search engines to find a suitable RSS reader, typing "RSS reader" as your keyword.

How does it work?

Wherever you see the orange XML logo orange XML logo in the website indicates that Watson Wyatt provides an RSS feed. Each news feed provide headlines, descriptions and links back to the full story on the site.

Choose which RSS feeds you want for instance, an RSS feed of all the latest Press Releases from Watson Wyatt. Then copy the RSS news feed url into your reader.
