Introducing Total Reward
How to make it happen
Every company is different, but we have found the process outlined in Figure
3 provides organisations with a clear framework as to how they could implement
the Total Reward approach at their organisation.
Beginning with a review of the current strategy, our model then focuses on
a detailed review of the design and delivery of each element of the reward
package (including their alignment with each other as well as the overall reward
strategy itself). Finally, we believe it is crucial to develop success measures
that will be monitored on a regular basis going forward.
Perhaps the most important stage of this process, however, occurs right at
the very beginning, in other words developing a business case for presentation
to an organisations senior management team as to why this
form of review is required.
