Two Watson Wyatt Associates Received Prestigious Awards
Aline Paz and Mateus Pena have received awards from both the ABRAAP (Brazilian Closed Entities Association) and from the IBA (Brazilian Institute of Actuaries).
The IBA presented Aline with an award for her essay titled "A Importância da Gestão do Risco para uma Entidade Fechada de Previdência Complementar" (The Importance of Risk Management for a Pension Fund). Aline had also been the recipient of an award from ABRAAP for her essay "Fundos de Pensão: Uma Introdução à Administração da Solvência" (Pension Funds: Solvency Management Introduction).
The IBA together with ABRAPP also presented Mateus with an award for his essay "A Convergência do VaR para DNP Normalizada" (The Convergence of the VaR for Normalized DNP). Mateus' essay was published and distributed in the Annual Summary Book of the 26th Pension Funds Congress - a prestigious honor within the retirement community.
Aline and Mateus will be presenting their essays at the IBA Congress later this year. This conference is among the most important events in the Brazilian actuarial arena.
