SUMMARY

Companies from all over the world are facing the consequences of quick and constant changes in the marketplace. For the past five years, ongoing mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, IPOs, etc have forced companies to find answers and to come up with solutions to meet the challenges of attracting, retaining and motivating professionals, especially those classified as talents.

In Brazil, we have observed significant increase in the search for qualified staff, given that there are continuous new investment in plants, technologies, infrastructure, and services.

Therefore, both domestic and international companies from all industries have been searching answers to the most relevant questions required for the success of any business endeavor:

  • What is the most appropriate and competitive compensation to executive level and key positions?
  • What is the best way to determine competitiveness of my compensation package?
  • Does the indirect compensation approach offer the correct cost/benefit ratio to the organization?
  • What is employees’ perception concerning the compensation package?
  • Is the risk level of variable compensation of the company aligned with market practices?

So that companies may find the best answers to these and other questions, it is essential that Human Resources professionals, which are ultimately responsible for managing the compensation and benefit programs, have a source of information that brings together technology, innovation and reliability. Therefore, Watson Wyatt is proud to provide to these organizations a tool that combines all those assumptions - the STRATEGIC COMPENSATION SURVEY.
