European Retirement provision - The Corporate View

Towards the end of 1998, Watson Wyatt conducted a major survey of European retirement plans among leading multinationals. Almost 70% of the companies that participated in the survey had more than 5,000 employees in the European region. Responses were received from Chief Executive Officers, Finance Directors, Human Resource Directors and Pensions/Benefits Specialists. In total, the respondents had responsibility for more than 740 different pension arrangements across the 17 European countries included in the survey.
