New from Watson Wyatt

Watson Wyatt in Canada

Watson Wyatt is pleased to announce a major expansion of our capabilities in Canada through the acquisition of the Toronto-based Actuarial and Benefits (A&B) Services of KPMG.

With the acquisition, Watson Wyatt Canada will add a number of key associates and further establish itself as one of the largest human capital consulting firms in the country with more than 1,000 clients and annual revenues of over $70 million. Both firms offer complementary services in the areas of retirement and benefit consulting, while Watson Wyatt also offers extensive human resource consulting.

The acquisition will benefit both organisations. Watson Wyatt will grow its client base and the services it offers, and KPMG's A&B will align itself with an organisation whose core business is human resource consulting. The acquisition also means that A&B's existing clients will have access to expanded capabilities and additional expertise from Watson Wyatt.
