In its October 6, 2008 issue, FORTUNE magazine ranked Watson Wyatt Worldwide No. 88 in its list of 100 Fastest Growing Companies. FORTUNE based this list on revenue growth rate, earnings-per-share growth rate and three-year annualized total return to investors.
To qualify for the listing, companies must meet various criteria. They include: U.S. incorporation; a minimum market capitalization of $250 million; and a compound annual growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least 25 percent annually over the three years ended on or before June 30, 2008.
In addition to this latest ranking, Watson Wyatt has also been included in the Forbes list of 400 Best Big Companies for two consecutive years. This ranking, which identifies the best U.S. companies with $1 billion or more in revenues, is based on an analysis of financial metrics, corporate governance ratings and other public information.
